Goodbye
November 30, 2009 · Leave a Comment
Two more of y rascals said goodbye to me today. Really wanted to hug them a bit longer, really wanted to tell them again and again that Teacher Foong Ling loves them very much. They have no idea that after today, we won’t be seeing each other anymore. They thought they were just going to go on a 6weeks holiday and come back to my class. They thought so. But how could i tell them, that i was leaving and this goodbye will be the last. Sorry for sounding emo here, but really feel sad. Probably you guys won’t, they are my first class, the feeling is hard to describe. Tml is another day, but this round with onlly 9 of them. How i wish time would stop when all 13 of us will be together. But we all have to grow up, and move on to the next phrase in our lives. I love you, Zhang Ze Yu, Shi Pei Yang, really love you from the bottom of my heart. I’ll miss my two little rascals.

God’s great love for us.

Psalm 103 (New International Version)
(Taken from the Study Bible: God forgives our sins, heals our diseases, redeems us from death, crowns us with love and compassion, satisfies our desires, and gives righteousness and justice. We receive all of these without deserving any of them.)
1 Praise the LORD, O my soul;
all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
2 Praise the LORD, O my soul,
and forget not all his benefits-
3 who forgives all your sins
and heals all your diseases,
4 who redeems your life from the pit
and crowns you with love and compassion,
5 who satisfies your desires with good things
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
6 The LORD works righteousness
and justice for all the oppressed.
7 He made known his ways to Moses,
his deeds to the people of Israel:
8 The LORD is compassionate and gracious,
slow to anger, abounding in love.
9 He will not always accuse,
nor will he harbor his anger forever;
10 he does not treat us as our sins deserve
or repay us according to our iniquities.
11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
so great is his love for those who fear him;
12 as far as the east is from the west,
so far has he removed our transgressions from us.
(Taken from the Study Bible: East and west can never meet. This is a symbolic portrait of God’s forgiveness – when He forgives our sin, He separates it from us and doesn’t even remember it. We need never wallow in the past, for God forgives and forgets. We tend to dredge up the ugly past, but God has wiped our reocrd clean. )
13 As a father has compassion on his children,
so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him;
(Taken from the Study Bible: God can tenderly heal your deep loss.)
14 for he knows how we are formed,
he remembers that we are dust.
(Taken from the Study Bible: When God examines our lives, He remembers our human condition. Our weaknesses should never be used as a justification for sin. His mercy takes everything into account. God will deal with you compassionately. Trust Him.)
15 As for man, his days are like grass,
he flourishes like a flower of the field;
16 the wind blows over it and it is gone,
and its place remembers it no more.
17 But from everlasting to everlasting
the LORD’s love is with those who fear him,
and his righteousness with their children’s children-
18 with those who keep his covenant
and remember to obey his precepts.
19 The LORD has established his throne in heaven,
and his kingdom rules over all.
20 Praise the LORD, you his angels,
you mighty ones who do his bidding,
who obey his word.
21 Praise the LORD, all his heavenly hosts,
you his servants who do his will.
22 Praise the LORD, all his works
everywhere in his dominion.
Praise the LORD, O my soul.

Dream

Had a weird dream yesterday. Think i must have been not praying in tongues enough. Dreamt that i was praying in tongues, in a kind of like a SOT setting. We were on this lesson, on laying of hands, or was it casting out of demonic spirit??? Either way, i ended up casting out a demon, and it was rather scary as the demon (in the person) turned and talked to me. Kind of scary but i held my ground and casted him out. Then i woke up -_-”

Emerge-KL was really an eye-opener.
God showed Himself to me, in a whole new way.
The first day of Emerge, was difficult. Could sense that Pastor and the worship leaders were trying very hard to pull down the presence of God. Honestly, the praise and worship was difficult. It felt as through they were singing a song and not really praising or worshipping God. I felt compassion for Pastor Kevin, kept wishing, how joyful it is if they could pray more, press onto the Lord more.
But God showed me in a surprising new way. Even in times like that, God still managed to touch me. It dosen’t matter if there was a power trip or the music was off, as long as the heart is willing, God’s presence can still be felt strongly.
The sermon on Caleb was revealed to me in a whole new way.
God brought me all the way from Singapore, to Emerge-KL, just to ask me one question, “Are you willing to wait?” He showed me that people that matters a lot to me, not being with me for the vision He gave me. “What if you have to wait for more than the time you imagine, just to fulfil this vision, will you still wait?” I cried and i told Him, yes.
God is wonderful, He’s just so amazing *smile*.
Wonder when will i hear the same melody again. That day during PM, i heard angels singing. It was truly beautiful, really long to hear it again *smile*.
Friday, i’ll be sharing my work testimony!!! Excited but scared at the same time. Not sure if i do still have stage fright, but to glorify God, even if i do have stage fright, i’ll overcome it!!!!
Can’t wait for friday!!! XD

Almost…

Its almost here now…
Time to say goodbye…
The feeling isn’t very good. Sad, yes.
Everyday i look at the children, i can’t help but love them. Through there were times when they can get me real mad. But still i think about them, when i’m away. Even when i’m overseas, i would think, what should i get for them. I’m probably the most blessed person in this world. God gave me children who love me. Good and beautiful children. Its impossible not to love them.
This year, i learnt about lots of things. I learnt that it is not impossible to love someone who is different. To really see past that outer appearance.
This year, i journey with God to different places and situation. Thank You for Your grace.
Partings are never easy.
Said goodbye to Brayden today. Was having PTC, and he came to my side and he lean upon my arm. I lean my head onto his. Just like that. It was so natural, almost like a habit. Seeing him leave really made my heartache, this is the last time i will get to see him. I doubt he will remember me when he grew up, but seeing him being so happy. Made me very happy too.
13 children. Not mine, by flesh and blood. But still 13 little rascals. My little rascals.
Thank You God, for this great gift =)
Counting down till 30th December 2009.
I love you, Brayden, Kaydrian, Valerie, Ze Yu, Zhi Yu, Pei Yang, Manoj, Shu Xuan, Samantha, Jia Nan, Da Kuan, Yu Qi, Kurias, in no order of any, i love all 13 of you very much.

Guard your mouth
November 7, 2009 · 2 Comments
Every word we say, reflects upon who He is.
The world looks upon us as children of God, but if out of the mouth speaks death and not life, we will portray a wrong image of Him. God is going to hold us responsible for that.
Our mouth cannot be the door for both life and death, only one will flow through. Its either you are righteous or wicked.
Proverbs 10:11
The mouth of the [uncompromisingly] righteous man is a well of life, but the mouth of the wicked conceals violence.
Our mouth should be used to praise, edify, and bring hope into the people’s lives.
Proverbs 18:4 (Amplified Bible)
4The words of a [discreet and wise] man’s mouth are like deep waters [plenteous and difficult to fathom], and the fountain of skillful and godly Wisdom is like a gushing stream [sparkling, fresh, pure, and life-giving].
God has even caution us about our mouth in the bible.
Proverbs 13:3 (Amplified Bible)
Acts 13:46 (Amplified Bible)
46And Paul and Barnabas spoke out plainly and boldly, saying, It was necessary that God’s message [concerning salvation through Christ] should be spoken to you first. But since you thrust it from you, you pass this judgment on yourselves that you are unworthy of eternal life and out of your own mouth you will be judged. [Now] behold, we turn to the Gentiles (the heathen).
Every word we say or said, will be judged upon us, when we meet our Creator in heaven. How then, can we even afford to be loose with keeping guard of our mouth!
3 He who guards his mouth keeps his life, but he who opens wide his lips comes to ruin.
Therefore let us be caution and careful with the words that flows through our mouth.
——————————————————————————————-
Wrote the above post during 9th September 2009. Today God convicted my heart about something i said, about someone. First time ever. God has been trying to deal with the problem of my mouth. Both goodness and wickedness seems to flow through it. And this is something God doesn’t like. Many times He spoke to me about my problem. I obey, but for a short period. Right now, really have to learn to confess the right things. My mouth is to bring life and not death. Got to remember to guard my mouth, got to!

Isaiah 40:31
October 14, 2009 · Leave a Comment
Isaiah 40:31 (Contemporary English Version)
But those who trust the LORD will find new strength. They will be strong like eagles soaring upward on wings; they will walk and run without getting tired.
Hoping in the Lord is expecting that His promise of strength will help us to rise above life’s distractions and difficulties.
Do you believe God loves you and wants the best for you?
Can you relax, confident that His purposes are right?
Are you convinced that He has the power to control all of life – and your life as well?
Though your faith may be struggling or weak, accept His provision and care for you.
(Credit to: Life Application Study Bible)
Do you trust Him enough to give Him full reign of your life?
You can’t say i trust You Lord…to a certain extend. I mean yes, He understand that we need time to build that trust. But are you in the midst of building the trust, or are you stagnant at the level of ‘I believe You…to a certain extent.’
Are you able to believe even though His ways hasn’t been shown to you yet? Will you obey Him, even though it doesn’t makes sense, even if it hurts, will you?
God is still a faithful and giving God. He understands that our faith needs time to build up. Even in the midst of our building of faith, He still provides and cares for us. Thank You God.

Sometimes
October 11, 2009 · Leave a Comment
Sometimes.
Some things.
People will not understand.
Your leaders might not know what you are going through right now.
Your friends might not know what you are going through right now.
But God knows.
Every thing that happens, He knows.
He knows what you are going through.
All you need is to trust in Him, even when you don’t see His hand, know that He is still with you, He will never forsake or leave you.
Trust in Him.
